Introducing... me!

So Mrs. Staff Sergeant over at Married to the Military is daring us bloggers who don't normally post pictures of ourselves (or even if we do we can still play) to post pictures of ourselves on our blog, and go link up with her! I think this is a great idea! I don't normally post pictures on my blog just because I blog about random things, there aren't really pictures to go with them. Anyway, I update my little profile picture on the side occasionally, and my avatar on twitter, but that's about it! Anyway, I was gonna cheat and just pick my favorite pictures of me off Facebook, but I just got my haircut so it really wouldn't be an accurate portrayal of me! So I was looking particularly cute today, so I decided to have some fun and take some pictures for this! Good deal, huh?! This was me Monday night before going out and partying! lol This was me today! Since It was the 1st day of classes I decided to actually put make up on and stuff! I decided to have some fun with my pictures too, so these are my silly pictures! hehe So that's me in all my glory.. err not so much but you know what I mean! Now its your turn! I see pictures of your cute kiddo's all the time, or other random things, but I want to know what you look like, too! Wow that's a long tittle! I have to apologize for all the semi-mindless posting lately, I'm just having a bit of writers block, or bloggers block (get it?! ha!) Anyway, I've been tagged all over the place lately, so I thought I would just do an all-in-one kinda thing! 1st Jen @ mommablogsalot tagged me in this pieces of eight meme! So here goes:

1. Bek's- It's this restaurant in town, and it's so good! They have amazing sweet potato fries & artichoke dip! yum.
2. Pastazio's- Back home it was one of my favorite places to eat, they have really good pizza and really good salad!
3. Subway- I could seriously eat there everyday if I could afford it.
4. Any Sushi place- I love sushi!!
5. Campizi's- Another great pizza place in Dallas.
6. MiCocina- Love me some tex-mex!
7. Olive Garden- I don't eat here that often, but it's really good! There's one in Columbia which is 30 mins from where I go to school, so sometimes we drive down there for special occasions!
8. Wendy's- I know it's fast food, but it's so good!!

8 things that happened yesterday

1. I went to my 1 class for the day
2. I slept in until 12, since my class wasn't until 2.
3. I had a long text messaging conversation with my boyfriend :)
4. I participated in my 2nd sorority initiation ceremony!
5. I went to wal-mart... twice (almost 3 times)
6. I called my mom
7. I begged my mom to send me some money! (it worked!!)
8. I read blogs.. a lot!

1. Seeing my boyfriend for the 1st time all week on Saturday!
2. My birthday in 1 week!!

6. Barn Dance- it's a party our sorority is having coming up!

Ok so here's 7 random things about me:

1. I have a lot of nervous habits- I play with my hands all the time, like popping my knuckles or just messing with them. I play with my necklace a lot, moving it back and forth and stuff. I also do this weird thing with my mouth where I like click the top of my mouth I don't know why, I just started doing it one day and couldn't stop!
2. I love pelligrino water! Love it! I used to go through like 2 huge bottles a day when I was at home; it was like my wine, I would drink it out of wine glasses and it's the 1st thing I would do is pour some pelligrino water when I got home.
3. I have to sleep with the a/c on.. like it has to make noise or I can't sleep! It blocks out so much noise which is nice for living in the sorority house, but even when there isn't noise to block out, I have to have it on!
4. I have a baby blanket that I still sleep with. My aunt made it for me when I was born, and I've been attached ever since! It used to have a silk border around it and it had teddy bears, but not anymore! I still love it, though!
5. I'm a facebook stalker! I love seeing what people have been doing on facebook, it's so much fun to stalk them! haha
6. I am really bad with money.. when I have it, I like have to spend it! It's bad.
7. I am in love with my iPhone.. what did I do before I had an iPhone?

Well, the thing is I kind of stopped carrying a purse once I got to school. I don't really know why, it just became a pain to carry around, and there's really nothing I need, so I just don't carry one. Which means I can't really play this! SAD! If I had done this before, it would've been so much fun. Oh well I might re-visit this if I ever start carrying a purse again! Next, I was tagged by Mrs. Forever to tell you even more about myself! 1. Last year we went skiing for spring break- while I hate skiing, it was really fun otherwise, so I'd love to go back.

3. I want to go Italy someday. My dad's side of the family is originally from there, and I've always wondered what it's like! Plus I love Italian food!
4. L.A.- I just really want to shopping on Rodeo Drive!

Four careers I want to be involved in:

1. I want to be a mom someday, but not for a long time!
2. I would love to start my own magazine, and be the editor of it. I'm not really sure what kind of magazine or anything yet, but it's a dream I've had for awhile.
3. I would love to work for my dad's company as the P.R. person
4. I would love to be the editor of something- some kind of magazine, newspaper, something.

1. I love getting dressed up to go out. I usually don't get ready for class because I would rather sleep in and there's no one to impress since most of my classes the majority of people are girls. So on the weekends when I actually do my hair and make up and put on cute clothes, I feel like 10x hotter!
2. I am obsessed with tabs, like on Firefox, I always have like 1000 open at a time. Most of them are usually new blogs I want to check out. If someone gets on my computer, and they don't click "restore" (as in bring back all my previous tabs) they should prepare for death! lol Currently I have 35 tabs open, 26 of which are blogs. See, told you!
3. I talk to my mom everyday, sometimes twice a day. I don't think I've been here at college 1 day without talking to her! We have a great relationship.
4. I'm not really into football.. I occasionally watch Mizzou games since being at school in Missouri, but that's only if I'm out like at the frat house, and it's already on. Our school doesn't have a ft. ball team, and our H.S. team was a joke, so I just never really got into it. The other school in our town has a ft. ball team, and people go watch their games, I think I'll go sometime, but I'm not much for watching ft. ball on TV.
5. My friends say I talk like the people from The Hills! I have a bad habit of saying "OMG" (like literally the letters o, m, g.) and I probably say "like" a lot. I sometimes say "brb", but I don't think I use internet speak very often! lol they also say I exaggerate my endings like the "t" sound at the end of a word... I don't think I do this, but whatever!
6. I am in love with Britney Spears' new single Womanizer. I can't wait for her new album, seriously I still love her last album. I don't care what is happening in her personal life as long as she keeps making kick ass music like this!

7 Things About Me

Former City Girl tagged me in this fun meme where you seven random facts about yourself! The rules: Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog. Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs. So here goes.. why is that I have no problem talking about myself until I'm put on the spot?!! By the way, I'm totally singing Miley Cyrus' "7 Things" song right now... yeah I know.

• I love Italian food.. my dad's Italian, and he's a really good cook, so I've grown up with a lot of really good Italian food, and I love it!
• I am officially obsessed with the Jonas Brother's song "Burnin' Up".. whenever I'm in a bad mood, or just need to boost my energy I blast that song, and immediately I'm better! haha
• I love little kids- I'm not in any hurry to have my own (someday, yes. But not anytime soon!) but I love to baby sit and I love babies! They are so cute!
• I am beyond addicted to Starbucks. Like addicted doesn't do it justice! I can't live without, and I don't know what I'm going to do at school because there's not a Starbucks in the whole freaking town! That was almost a deal breaker for me, almost. Luckily, I came to my senses and didn't base my education decisions on coffee. lol!
• I love my job... well today is my last day at work so I guess I don't exactly have a job anymore, but I love it. It's an amazing place to work and everyone is so nice. I'm really going to miss it.
• I am a huge Ashlee Simpson fan. I've loved her ever since she was on 7th Heaven way back in the day, and I love her music!
• I hate mornings (thus, my Starbucks addiction). If I could sleep all day every day, I so would. But then again, who wouldn't?!?! haha
