It has been awhile since I participated in The Un Mom's Random Tuesday Thoughts, but since it's been awhile since my last post and I have all kinds of things to say, I figured randomness is the way to go and I can get it all out in one post! (I think that was probably a run on sentence but this isn't English class it's my blog and I can have run on sentences if I want to!)
So I guest posted at Winey Mommy's place today. It took me like all day to write because I was super nervous. And I had no clue what to write about. Luckily I tweeted about my writer's block and Krystyn came to my rescue and suggested I blog about a funny story from college or something. So I searched my blog archives for some funny story I have never blogged about and found one. I also found a LOT of posts that have been half written or nearly finished that were never published that would've been actually good had I finished them. I need to get out of my own head and stop convincing myself that my writing sucks because all that leads to is an empty blog and a really full drafts folder. Anyway, the point of the story is please go check out my guest post because I am afraid that it will be a big flat flop and I will never volunteer to guest post again and I will make Chelle regret handing her blog over to me! (So much for getting out of my own head, right?)
Moving on. I have an addiction. It's called Reality Television. Specifically Real Housewives of New York, The Bachelorette, and my new favorite Househusbands of Hollywood. Dude, this is awesomeness. It's like total role reversal because the husbands stay home and take care of the kids or just the house if they don't have kids and the mom's go out and bring home the "bacon". And in some cases they are making a heck of a lot of bacon because one chick goes and blows like $8,000 in one day at Neiman's and Barney's. Seriously. $8000. Then her husband is all like "um, that's crazy. You need to chill the eff out." And she's all "you need to chill out, dude." Which, first of all, who calls their husband dude and second of all she seriously does not understand why he's mad that she spent that much money. Really? Anyway, it's on the FOX Reality Channel and it is complete awesomeness. Trust me.
Now can we do five minutes on the Real Housewives? Last night was the 2nd reunion show. There is so much drama on that show it takes 3 reunion shows just to cover it all. It's like on huge cat fight and it makes my blood pressure boil because everyone is yelling at each other and it's crazy and it makes me think of high school. My sister, who is brilliant and totally right, said "I would be embarrassed to be yelling at people like that at that age." My sister who is actually in high school is smarter than these women who just act like they're in high school. And dude, what is wrong with Betheney that 12 days after giving birth she looks like she was never pregnant? I look more pregnant than her and I am definitely not pregnant. That is just wrong.
Now for The Bachelorette. I can not get enough of this show and the ridiculous guys on it. Seriously, last night's episode was full of blood, sweat and tears literally. It was awesomely bad. I don't even know where to start with these dudes. I have so much to say I think I'm gonna have to write a whole post about it. I've been reluctant to write a Bachelorette post before because I've read so many witty, funny, sarcastic and awesome one's and I think I can't possibly compare. But who cares right? I can do what I want. And even if my post isn't as good as this person's, it's my own style and I can be confident in that!
On a more serious note, I really want you all to go to the site that was started for my sister. I haven't blogged about it before because, well, my blog got depressing for awhile after she was diagnosed and as much as that was therapeutic, being happy and witty is also therapeutic. Anyway, the site is 1 Million 4 Anna and the goal is to get 1 million prayers said for my sister and her health! They just posted a beautiful essay written by one of her best friends about what Anna has been through and it is a beautiful tribute to Anna's strength and her amazing friendships that have helped her get through this time in her life. On a brighter but related note, she only has 1 more chemo to go!!! This is been one hell of a road and it is something none of us ever thought we would have to go through but the end is in sight. Thank you all for praying and please continue to pray because we need a year of clean scans before she is officially cancer free!
When I was typing this, I was thinking I should write posts like this more often because I literally couldn't stop typing. Usually it takes me awhile to write blog posts, but when it's just going straight from the brain to the blog and I don't have to make sense, it just flows naturally.
So I think that's it. I probably could keep going but this post is already pretty long and if you're still reading this forever, then you're not reading my guest post!
If you want to write your own random post (trust me it's fun!) go ahead and link up with Keely at the Un Mom!

RTT: Apparently the Only Post I'm Capable Of!
I sure am glad that Keely at the UnMom hosts Random Tuesday Thoughts every week, because apparently it's the only post I'm capable of writing! In case you haven't noticed, the last time I posted was a week ago... my random tuesday thoughts, what else!? Now we are a week later with more random thoughts and no other random coherent posts!
I do have a valid excuse for not blogging, though, so don't be too hard on me! I'm not being a slacker (well maybe a tiny bit of a slacker). Remember how I mentioned I started summer school? Yeah well that's pretty much my life these days. Except Saturday's. Saturday's I get to pretend I can have a normal, relaxing summer. Oh well, hopefully it will all be worth it in the end, but that's why I haven't been blogging because I'm doing homework 24/7 (well close to that, if I'm not doing homework I'm in class or sleeping pretty much)! So that's where I've been.
I do have a lot of posts that I want to write & I am going to make myself make time for blogging! (Yes, I know, school comes first! But I can take a break every once in awhile...) Plus, my blogiversary is coming up!!! It's a week from tomorrow! I can't believe it!!! I'm so excited that I've made it a whole year, and so much has changed in one year! I'm not sure how I'm going to celebrate, I was thinking of doing a Q & A post, because my friend Alyssa asked me a question about sorority life & was hoping I'd do a post on it & it got me thinking maybe some other's of you have random questions! But I'll probably just do that another time & not for my blogiversary. How did you celebrate your blogiversary?!
Speaking of summer school I found a perk! I know, I was shocked too! So last week was insanely stressful & I was not feeling upbeat about life by the end of it (the week, not life)! So, my mom picked up on this, and in an attempt to make me feel better, she announced that she plans to spoil me while I'm in school! Um, okay! I'm not complaining! So this started with her calling me from the grocery store & asking if I drink Bud Light Lime. At 1st I was like umm... I'm not sure how to respond to that, is this a trick question?! Anyway, I said yeah (not only do I drink it I LOVE it!), and she said well, I bought you some!!! Then, the next day, she took me to get a mani/pedi! Then, this morning she brought me Starbucks & Chick-fil-A for breakfast! I am starting to like this whole school thing a little better... (well not really but I definitely don't mind the spoiling!)
So my car is getting fixed! woo hoo! The insurance is covering almost all of it, so that's good news! And I'm driving my sisters car in the mean time, which I don't mind at all! To be honest, I really don't miss my car because I like driving hers so much! lol
Why is everything good on TV all on Monday nights? Why can't they spread it out a little? Seriously I have so much to watch on Monday's! Greek, Jon & Kate Plus 8 (don't even get me started on that show... we have a love/hate relationship!), The Bachelorette & probably even more that I'm missing! Ugh! Thank goodness for TiVo! :) Anyway, I was up way too late watching TV last night because everything was on! geez!
I have a lot of posts coming up over at College Lifestyles (my summer internship site!), so definitely check for those later in the week. In the mean time, you should just head over there anyway & read what everyone else is posting! My intern buddies are fabulous (& a little intimidating, they're so fabulous!), so there will be definitely be a lot of good stuff to read!
I did the unthinkable in bookworld or whatever... I skipped ahead to the end! I know, I know!! I've never done that before, I sware! Especially with my Jodi Picoult books (I'm reading Picture Perfect by her) because of all her books I've read (& loved every single one!), the ending has always been the best part! But this time I couldn't take it anymore! I wanted to know what happens! I only read the last paragraph or so, but now that I know what happens, I'm not sure I wanna finish it! Not because I already know what happens, but because I don't think I like the ending! I would be more specific, but I don't wanna ruin for anyone!
Anyway, that's probably enough rambling for one day... I have some homework to do now, story of my life! For more randomness, go see Keely at the Unmom, or even put together your own randomness in a post & go link up with her!

RTT: The Good, The Bad & The Ugly
Welcome to Random Tuesday Thoughts hosted by the UnMom. This week's edition of RTT (Random Tuesday Thoughts!) is themed the good, the bad and the ugly! Exciting, right!? I do love a good theme!
It's pretty banged up, huh? Bummer :( Oh well, it could be worse & I'm thankful that everyone was okay & it wasn't more serious. Posted by Patrice at 10:20 PM 14 comments

Permission to Make No Sense
The Un-Mom is hosting the weekly meme of Random Tuesday thoughts & well since I don't feel like making sense today, I love this because she is pretty much giving me permission to make no sense! Kidding... I will make some sense (or at least try)! So attempt to follow along, won't you!?
So, I don't know if you remember (but you should because you should be taking notes of everything I say here!) me talking about my College Lifestyles internship, but I posted my very 1st blog over there the other day, so go check it will you!? It would make me super happy! :)
I realize it's been a long time since I posted anything, but I felt like I had something to live up to after my last post was quoted on iTunes and all! I was gonna post something, but I was debating on what to post next... I was thinking about doing a post on the fear of talking on the phone, or a post about how I'm surviving the summer. What do you, my lovely readers, think!?! Anyone, anyone... Bueller?
I'm taking summer school starting Monday & I'm not excited. It's going to suck. I know it. I hate school. I hate doing work for school. blah! But, hopefully it will get my GPA up & it will get a couple of classes out of the way. But it's gonna suck, did I mention that!? Also, my school & the school I'm taking classes at are not making this easy! I have less than a week to get everything in order, and today I find out my summer school doesn't have my transcript. Well that's because my normal school is "holding it" until 6/10... 9 days after I'm supposed to start classes. Awesome! Thanks for the help!
My weight has officially gotten out of control. So, I have been touring gyms and stuff trying to find the right health club to join for the summer so I can hopefully go back to school looking and feeling much better than I do now. Hopefully I can start the whole working out process ASAP because time is wasting & I'm not getting any thinner!
I almost posted about the MTV Movie Awards yesterday because I had so many thoughts & feelings after watching it! It was a very enjoyable show for the most part, and I freakin LOVED Andy Samberg (although I wish he would've performed instead of having those people do the slow-mo versions of his songs... lame!)! However, I was so annoyed that Twilight won everything! I get it that it's apparently soooo amazing & whatever, but enough is enough! There were a lot of other great movies this year besides Twilight & someone else should've had a chance & gotten recognized! I don't even want to watch next year, because with the new Twilight movie New Moon coming out I'm sure it's just gonna be the same kiss-twilights-ass kind of show again, and I am not interested, thankyouverymuch!!
Also, Kristin Stewart... um whatever you're smoking/drinking/taking whatever... stop! You're a fool! Also, get a stylist... no one wears converse on the red carpet! Get a clue :)
1 more thing about the Movie Awards... um Heath Ledger won an award (I think like Best Villain or something? Thank God Rob Pattinson didn't win that too... shocker!) & they very nonchalantly, in passing, said oh by the way Heath Ledger won.. ok moving on now. WHAT!!!!? This is the last award that Heath Ledger will ever win most likely, and they just nonchalantly mentioned it. It was very insensitive I feel, and I wish they would've done something more to honor his memory.
That's it... let me know what you think my next post should be, because I am in a slump! Also, if you're not in the mood to make sense either and just wanna say what's on your mind, you can do your own Random Thoughts Tuesday & link up with The Un-Mom!
